Their Eyes Were Watching God is a gorgeous book. I'm still out here lurking around, and answering e-mails although not at the address I am commenting under (if you didn't get the "I am changing e-mails" e-mail and want to get in touch feel free to call me out on the blog and I'll drop you a line--life has been insane but I still follow you on Bloglines). xox "Eliza Doolittle"
I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Jenny Lewis. Rabbit Fur Coat is one of my all time favorite CDs!
Thank you so much for your kind comments and support. It has been a difficult time, but your friendship means the world to me. It gives me hope to know that there are still many good people (like you) in the world.
I have enjoyed reading your posts so much this year. Pumpkin is wonderful. I'm also very impressed that Angel did so well his first semester. That is a big accomplishment. You have a beautiful family. I know you will go far with tenure, too. I hope the folks in academia realize what a gem they have in you.
Many good wishes for a happy and wonderful new year:)
I'm so behind on blog reading it's ridiculous, but I just wanted to say that I am taking full credit for your discoveries of Ben Harper and Jenny Lewis, even if you don't want me to. HA! I am a guiding light.
