b and I took the day off to prepare. He really did the lion-share: mowing, cleaning the yard, decorating, cooking and baking. Here are some pictures of his effort:
Big bowl of candy--his idea
Dead guy in the bathtub--totally his idea
Pupzilla got into the festivities with her bee costume:
Post-treat for letting b put on her costume
Pumpkin and her friend, HungryGirl, came early to help with the last minute decorating touches. HungryGirl prepared the chalkboard.

Happy Halloween! We didn't carve a pumpkin this year, but we've got all our decorations up, and lots of candy...
fun!
That looks like so much fun! What a great idea - I normally dislike Halloween Parties but this I could do!
Awesome!
It looks like a fun party! I love the decorations, especially the luminaries and the fire. We have a pit (or whatever they're called) that looks like yours. There's something about a fire that makes me ready to party. I love the pumpkin carvings, too.
I HAVE to get to the US one day for Halloween.
