Not That It Really Matters But...

...electronic voting is just not as satisfying as the big old booths with the curtain and the big handle.

However voting is now checked-off on the To Do list and I'm on to grading.

Still waiting to hear from Angel on his first voting experience. I took him with me almost every time I voted in the past 18 (well 19 actually if we're counting pregnancy) years. I wish he could have voted with us today.

You are so right about electronic voting. I got talked into early voting, and now I wish I hadn't done it.

I miss the experience of going to our precinct to vote. It felt like the event had more importance attached to it. Maybe I'm just being silly or sentimental. But there were all the people I met along the way, and they always had a hundred stories to tell me. The process of doing it was physical, as well as mental. Maybe I should go down to the precinct and just stand around for old time's sake...lol! I might get arrested if I do that this year, though.

I hope Angel has a good experience today! Take care:)

I cast my ballot this morning as well. Hope Angel has a good experience. I know I always feel good when I get my little sticker. Like kindergarten all over again.

Wow, it is so exciting to think about my kids as future voters!
