If you see a whole thing - it seems that it's always beautiful. Planets, lives... But up close a world's all dirt and rocks. And day to day, life's a hard job, you get tired, you lose the pattern.- Ursula K. LeGuin

New Look
It feels like a good time for a change. A new look for a new age. I wanted something a little simpler. Any and all feedback is welcome.
I like the tabs, and I enjoyed reading "100 Things." The peach sidebar is a nice, subtle way to set off your sidebar items, and separate them from your main text area. For some reason, your profile photo isn't showing up, and I really like that profile photo! The more I view your "new look" the more I'm getting used to it. It works well, and emphasizes your text and photos. ~ Annie
I like it but agree with Drax that the hand writing photo should go back to the original if possible. It's a compelling image that gets shortchanged here.
I'll tell you the same thing I told Annie. I'd love reading your words, even if they were written on an old barn in mud. Or something like that. In other words, I enjoy it here very much. I know I'm not much help, but the design doesn't bother me at all. I'm a crappy blogger:)

I like it!!!!
I like the clean, open look but it's not as pretty as the previous design. Maybe a little something?
Well...
The horizontal scaling (stretching) of the photo of hands, book and pen looks bad; revert to original proportions.
And,
A nice clean SERIF would look better for "dirt and rocks."
That's all I got. Rock on.
Whoops! One more! The WRITING & ARTS links look alarmingly skimpy!

Have a great weekend!
It looks lovely!
Is it a Blogger.com template, or did you roll your own?
